What Readers are Saying about the Let’s Eat Out! Series
“This is a great resource to have for traveling.
I love the tabbed setup that makes it easy to get to the section
I need. Obviously a lot of thought was put in to making the book
(with an amazing amount of info.) as easy to use as possible.
It is obvious that a great deal of thought and experimentation
has been put forth in the making of this valuable resource!
After being GF (and other things free) for 5 years, I appreciate
the resource as it will make it far more possible for me to visit
Italy (and other countries in my future) maintaining my health
as much as possible along the way! Well done!
I have dining cards and they work quite well, but the next time
I travel, I will be packing this book to take as well, without
a doubt!”
—Kim S.
“Thank you so much for the awesome book!
I love it and I’m really enjoying it! Your book is extremely
helpful for a young teen like me who still wants to have fun and
eat out with friends without feeling awkward or deciding I can’t
go because of my specialized diet.”
—Annie W.
“I just wanted to thank Kim and Robert
for the book. It was the first celiac related book I ordered after
my dx of Celiac disease. I had a lovely vacation in London/Paris
in May and every person with Celiac told me to cancel my trip.
I said if Kim can do this with all her restrictions, I can keep
from eating gluten on vacation. And I did!”
—Tiffany J.
“Thanks for making the lives of people
with celiac disease a little easier.”
—Karen R.
“My 'Let's Eat Out! book arrived today
and I can not believe how great it is. Obviously I have not read
it all yet but I have read enough to know that it's very easy to
read and comprehend and to use her techniques to eat out safely
regardless of where you go in the world. I understand that many
of you don't care to go out so I'm not suggesting you go out and
get this book. It's for people who can't stay home for either work
or just social reasons. It teaches you how to figure out anywhere
in the world (or around the corner) what should be safe for you
to eat. It states that you need to still talk to the staff, manager
or chef but it gives helpful hints as to how to do that effectively.
I just wish I'd ordered this book a month ago. We'll be eating
out this weekend and I can't wait. It will only be my second venture
out in a month.”

“The book is well-written, nicely illustrated
and meets a real need for people like me. Thank you for your research
and publishing such a great book, and thank you for raising awareness
of the challenge of travel for people with food allergies.”
—Debbie P.
“The book is fantastic and very comprehensive!
I really enjoyed reading it. It is much more in depth and informative
than anything available. The format is great as well—very
easy to follow, and the standard format between chapters makes
it easy to use it as a reference guide after an initial read-through.
I learned about several items that I had been afraid to try, too! ”
—Laurie R.
“This book is amazing! It’s packed
full of so much information if I just want to eat down the street
or going on vacation in the states. I’ll also bring it with
me when I travel to Europe for the first time. I think it’s
terrific that you are filling a need that no one else has been
addressing. Great job!!”
—Dawn W.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am
by your book. Your information was very helpful and gave me the
confidence that I would likely have no issues eating out overseas
and I did not. Again, I can’t tell you how excited I am by
what you are doing and thank you.”
—Debbie P.
“I have read your book and it is excellent.
It is true that us Brits eat a lot of Indian food especially living
so close to Birmingham, where we are told Chicken Tikki Masala
originated. I think you got the recipes spot on, especially when
you use proper English words like coriander instead of cilantro!!!”
—Margaret W.
“My oldest daughter has celiac and I am
glad to know that you are improving the lifestyle for someone like
my daughter—I appreciate it and I am sure when she eventually
comes of age (a little to hard to comprehend at 3 years old), she
will also appreciate the path that you are plowing for her!”
—John A.
“I just want to say that I am greatly inspired
by your book. I truly believe you are doing something that may
even save people’s lives, not to mention return to them a
quality of life they are surely longing for.”
—Janie G.
